I said I’d like Bobby Petrino months ago, but it would never work out. A few on this board said, he would never do an OC job again. Like a month a half later, he gets hired and both UNLV and Texas A&M. Then I said if we can’t get BMFP, I’d like Merlins… so let’s make that happen.

The best thing Kurt Cobain did for alt/grunge rock was die. Not trying to be callous, but Nirvana wouldn't be regarded as anything other than a decent 90s grunge band without his passing. The Foo Fighters, especially early on, played and wrote their way into the rock hall of fame and became one of the biggest rock bands of the era

He’s gone. His best friend that posts on 247 has given a little backstory tonight. He was on board with TCU since Monday it sounds like but stayed until today at Pittman’s request.

Briles best friend and money manager is a message board guy. He’s followed him around each stop on 247 and is known to give behind the seven information on him. He is who has broken Briles’ decision around Miami, South Carolina and State before any media did. He was also 100% silent all week which is why many thought this was actually happening. He finally broke his silence tonight after the news broke. He says he’ll post more tomorrow on how it went down.
So far he’s basically said the family doesn’t want to leave NWA but the draw to be closer to home at an “easier” job was too much to pass up.
