Dudes film is legit. Regardless of competition. He runs great routes. Makes unbelievably tough catches. Has good speed. And hes got a good frame for a WR.

Offense: 9 -4 incoming transfers 1 PWO.
we're going to be fine on offense. RB is loaded, TE has highly regarded freshmen coming. and everything else is offset.
DL II
EDGE II - 1 incoming transfer
LB I - 1 incoming transfer

Defense:13 - 4 incoming transfers.
the backend of our defense, middle of our defense, and front of our defense are all losing major contributors. our depth is extremely concerning at this point especially on the backend of our defense.

We need more bodies on the defensive side of the ball. We will never compete with the big boys of college football until we get better defensive line play.

Well he can catch the ball. Thats one of the many requirements to being a good player at the FBS level.
Can he get open? Can he run? Can he block? Can he remember the playbook?

In other news, water is wet. That's where the coaching evaluation comes in.
Maybe he'll be an all-SEC guy, maybe he'll flame out and not see the field. We'll see soon enough.

There's really not much time left for transfer portal additions. Classes start on the 17th if they want to participate in Spring ball. If we don't fill them, we'll have to wait until May.

I’m not entirely optimistic about next years team just looking at the talent on the defensive side of the ball but I’ll gladly eat crow. All I want to see is a successful Arkansas football program.

again, we will have a successful offense, and the beginnings of being successful on D. It won't be great, but not Uber terrible as with Odom! and Yes, he sucked...
I was not sad to see him go, other than he was great as a mentor for Sam to have as a 1st time HC.
I do believe Sam hired much better coaches/recruiters for the D however.
The Portal will work itself out with some more transfers in the next few days, and then some in the later period. I am looking for somewhere around 8-11 more coming this way via portal, CC, or other.

If you take your max scenario were like 1 for 1ish with transfers on defense assuming all 11 are from defense. That also means we need to assume high school recruits replaced all our normal non transfer player transition
If all that doesn't happen then next year we're thinner than this year body wise....

I know you love to bash, bemoan and all out bitch about the lack of success of Arkansas sports, especially football.
But, I am glad we ended with a win at least and it was a compelling game to see television wise, etc.
Better record than TAMU, Florida, Mizzou, Auburn, Vandy, and equal or better than KY. with the amount of crap in the locker rooms by DL, and Strength Staff... and injuries. I really didn't think Sam would hold it together or fire/dispose of some coaches. He did...
