Well he is correct, we have like 16 in the portal and are top 3 of kids going to the portal. But most those kids weren’t starters or even playing.

I am afraid this isn't close to being over.
Pittman needs to make some quick decisions, Tease... Most likely gone in recruiting, but TAMU is the Devil here.
A couple of our better players being targeted as well. Coaches expected to exit.
and no, this isn't completely from 247 or recruiting boards.
Now, If we somehow pull Williams, or perhaps even better this will quickly become a non issue overall

Oh, well I don’t really know who he is, but he seems super connected. I also know a lot of people said there would be a mass exodus because Sam didn’t go after the police.

Just now catching up on this thread and what an apparent shite show is happening… makes me realize how much apathy has set in for me toward our football program. With basketball going on, it’s just hard for me to care about our constant uphill battle in football

Idk why anyone would melt over tease. We don’t throw the ball enough for any receiver loss to hit hard. Ketron was a great receiver and he hardly ever touched it. What about Nash and sategna? The most we ever seem to use is one major receiver a year. Also we’re clearly not serious about NIL or just football in general. I’ve finally came to accept that we are a 6-6 program with no aspirations of getting better. No need to melt. If we have a couple 4-8/3-9 seasons then we’ll run Pittman off and hire some other lackluster name to make a few mil and hopefully go to another shitty bowl. We’re the new kentucky so just don’t worry about it.

Well I for one am not apathetic. I'm tired of Sam's slow motion movements and if he drops the ball here with the DC and we lose recruits I'll be changing my stance on him being a good hire. He stabilized us for a year or two but I was concerned about him being the long term answer. I still hope I'm wrong but a lot of my concerns are starting to show themselves.

He’s not the long term answer and was never the long term answer. He was able to get some solid coordinators in here and have a little success with Morris’s recruits and we should be thankful for that. But no of course he’s not the answer and never was. If he was a man of his word he would step down after this following season or before this year after the 9-4 season but he hired sexton and wants the money just like the rest of us do, nothing wrong with that but if you want big boy money you can’t shite the bed year 4 which means either way after this season we should have some excitement back in the fan base. Either a bounce back year or a new coach

Per the "recruiting gurus", we’ve now had 5 defensive portal players who were scheduled to visit or in the process of setting up a visit cancel or commit elsewhere. 3 were DBs, 2 were DL. Every single day this DC search drags on, we are losing the opportunity to fill holes in the roster and add depth.

That's kinda my stance right now, too. In all reality, this sort of turnover with the roster is going to be the norm going forward, so I'm trying to not overreact and let it all play out. If we shite the bed in the transfer portal, lose our top commits, and hire some retread DC....then I'll be officially concerned.

Arkansas as a program can't afford to have a CEO coach. We need to have someone who specializes in either offense or defense, so this doesn't happen every year.

This is the biggest issue right now. The program can’t wait much longer on a DC being named simply because of the holes that need to be filled from the portal.
