NW Arkansas, though I'd suggest Siloam Springs. The Redneck Rivera is Hell on Earth during the summer. Not just the heat and humidity, but the traffic. The prices for a home are also outrageous. 500k might get you a shack 20 miles outside of town.

Destin Ft. Walton yes, absolutely.
I bought a house 5 minutes from the beach in Gulf Shores, less than 250k. I'm on the island 8 minutes from the beach.

Traffic here isn't as bad as 540 nor 71b. Tourist season is in full blown now, still can get to Foley in 20 minutes.

I thought that you lived in NWA... I'd definitely be looking at FL if I went down there, but lower AL would be a possibility. Preference would be to as close to Hulburt or Eglin as possible.

I should have excluded the Alabama Gulf Coast, or been more precise in that I always think of the Redneck Rivera as that armpit region of Florida. Gulf Shore, Fairhope, and that area is a very nice area to live.

I live west of I49 in Fayetteville. The coming construction at the Weddington interchange is going to be a nightmare for traffic.

Its crazy how fast it's growing over here but it's nothing a few roundabouts and bike lanes can't fix.

I know nice folks from those towns but it would be a cold day in hell before I lived off i30 and that shitty access road here there and yonder stuff. I would prefer Little Rock over those two even with crime etc. and I don’t wanna live there either.

It’s gonna be a nightmare when they start that interchange. I hope they get it right this time. Absolutely zero reason to be exiting left from a narrow turn lane to go 49 NB

We moved to Appalachicola and have a house on St. George Island. It’s what Destin was before it got so overcrowded.
