It could be argued 16th ranked Bella Vista has tried NOT to grow in the past decade, and still grew at a 10% clip.
That mild clip is not going to last. Bella Vista is getting ready to explode once the interstate bypass is done. They're ranked "behind" Russellville and Texarkana for instance, and it's almost not a joke to say they'll overtake them in the next 35 minutes, if they haven't already while I'm typing this. So basically Bella Vista is defacto 14th ranked behind Sherwood.

Largest percentage growth:
Centerton grew 83 percent in a decade. It's noticeable to think little bump in the road Centerton is now bigger than El Dorado, etc
Bentonville grew 74%
Prairie Grove 71 percent, wow
Elkins 51%
Pea Ridge 37 percent
Lowell and Farmington both in the 30 to 32 percent range, Bryant 29%, Rogers 25%
Cave Springs 198 percent and Tontitown 101 percent

NWA is a viable metro area now....but still split into multiple little towns with little town mentality (I think that’s cool, but I live in a place called Appalachicola.
Little Rock is the new Helena. The only hope there is the Parkview football program. Hogs really need 5-6 kids per year from Central AR.
I realize I may have just offended Helena.

Bentonville having 62k people is mindblowing.
I recall their population sign when it said 13k, in like 1996.
Fayetteville was 42k, Springdale 29k.
This used to be such a quaint little metro area.

Next census, Springdale and Fayetteville will both easily pass 100,000 people. Rogers will be close. Hell, Bentonville won't be far behind if things keep going how they're going.

I still can't believe Hot Springs only has less than 40,000 residents. The town feels like it should be twice that big.

39k people live in pine bluff? Wow

You guys seem chipper about this, seeing all the crime happening, I could do without this growth.

I remember when Fayetteville was just a large sized college town. Good Lord if I had gotten into construction work back in the mid 90's I would need a chauffeur to take me down my driveway to get my mail by now.

Just all the apartments down 6th that have went up in the last 10 years could make someone Scrooge McDuck.

I still have friends and family that live there.
The Walmart almost closed for good because of both customer and employee theft. All electronic items are locked up.

Centerton being the size of Maumelle is insane to me. Incredible growth in NWA hopefully the infrastructure can keep pace. IMO Fayetteville is the only one equipped to handle 100k+ with the lone exception being people stuck on the west side of Wedington. Somehow I don’t think the city/state/DOT has truly accepted how many people live there. The 49 interchange has to be a major priority

Let’s say that you're a married 41 year old just retiring from the military with a nice pension and you want to move back to the south, specifically Arkansas but open to the redneck Rivera... Where do you move? In this hypothetical, you will need a nice job.

Little Rock "grew" by 1.54 percent
they are ranked 149th in growth in the state
a strong indictment of leftist BS politics
