Hmm, stay a HC at a historically bad FCS program for a base salary of $250k or go have less responsibilities as an OC for probably 4x that while also getting my name back in the FBS world. I know if I had the choice to take a job with half the responsibilities and make 4x my current salary, I definitely passing that up.

PPG = 32.7
TO = 473
Rush = 240.7

Same for CBP this year:

Look, I never thought Briles was the problem. I felt like Sam handcuffed him at times. But that’s no reason to go spouting a bunch of BS. They are both great offensive minds but, statistically, Bobby has the edge.

If BMFP can recruit/portal his type of players and develop them, instill HIS culture throughout the team, we'd be a player in the SEC. I have no doubt.

Yep. Go out and get winners. Kids that want to play here and want to get better. Let them know up front that they are going to get coached hard, but the rewards will be greatness. We don't want players that aren't willing to work. Nolan did this. I certainly don't remember conditioning being an issue under Petrino. Not to mention he's got 2 years here already. I think he'll be able to keep the players he wants.
I think he's the one money wants anyway. I've said this before, but this is exactly why the brought him here. Now he could still shite the bed, but I've seen improvement in the last 2 weeks. Our D is just too small and too slow. It's a lot of pressure on an offense to feel like you HAVE to score every single time you touch the ball.

This D can't be helped. They don't belong in the SEC. BMFP will correct that with recruiting.

2/2 on the close losses. If you remember, Bert went 0–10 in one score games before he won his first one. Halfway through his third year. It's weird. It's like the mirror version of our multiple OT stat. We're like 9–2 in 2OT or more, and we've been involved in more than any other team. We lose all the time in OT, but if it goes to 2OT, we just can't lose.
