This is cool and all, but I don’t like that. I know it’s not best to blow people out by 40, but I have watched too many Houston Nutt games where we got the lead and lost it in the last 5m of the game.

I’d rather see new lines ups played but with the same sense of urgency. Too many jump out to leads by 30 and then end up losing by 5 because we lost urgency and they chipped away.

Our style of play and how he coached setup for it. He focused on free throws, shot selection, driving the rim, and taking charges. This all pays dividends for us at end of games.

Love muss, but will never understand playing Vanover so much in the preseason, when you already knew his ceiling. Its like he wanted to prove a point to the transfers or something, when they really needed more minutes together.

Believe it or not a bunch of fans wonder why Vanover isn’t playing anymore. One guy asked me at work, I said have you not watched any games? Yeah but he gets blocks. I said not against anyone good. He gets burned by any guard and he takes a half a day to get back on defense.

I read a thread on a Facebook Razorback group this weekend with a bunch of folks asking why Muss hasn't been playing Vanover more lately.

The smooth-brain portion of our fan base is tough to bear sometimes.

A major issue is that he still has some of the best "metrics" on the team because his sample size is so low and mainly in OOC games. It is one of those cases where you have to really watch the games to see how bad he is at times.

He literally missed a dunk.

He's 7 foot 4 fricking inches and MISSED A DUNK.

He should NEVER see the court again. He's taking minutes from someone who actually helps the team.

Fans like him because hes a giant white guy from arkansas, thats it.

Do not get me started on Lykes. also a head scratcher

Two misses by Muss imo.
Tall white boy should've been sent down the road and Lykes should've stayed in Miami.

Anywhere but Arkansas.

Well Vanover can’t jump over a piece of paper.

Lykes, I will never get because when has a 5’7 (generous) ever worked that wasn’t an NBA all star caliber person?

I think Vanover is a safety blanket early in the season against bad teams. While everyone else is getting into the swing of things you can park Vanover close to the rim and he will at least keep smaller players away.

Once the level of competition goes up his minutes should drop like a rock.

Vanover is about like Ethan Henderson was. He'll have spurts where he gets a block and flushes a lob to score on the other end a few times and gets fans excited but then does 3-5 other things that make you scratch your head and wonder how he's D1.

But he plays so little that fans see what he did early in the season and wonder why he doesn't play more. It's easier to notice the good plays against OOC teams than it is him getting bullied around the basket against SEC bigs.

This theory is why we started off 0-3 in SEC play

Muss should be coach of the year for pulling this team together from a dismal start.

I really want them to curb stomp lsu but 10rc at their place is going to be tough. I could see them shooting lights out against us.

I can't, their guards are undersized and have a hard time getting good shots against us. If we can withstand the environment I think we beat the Vols again.
