Our defense has been caught several times not staying at home. Has killed us all night.

Oh this is gonna be living and dying by the sword. If our front can't get pressure we're gonna get torched at times....

Feels like we just keep cycling through DCs every few years and never get significantly better. Frustrating. Part of me does want to see if the Williams/Woodson combo’s recruiting can eventually pay off though no matter how bad the defense is in the short-term, but may run out of time to find out.

I think half of it is people don’t understand the rules are set up for offenses now.

I only saw the defense outrageously out of place 1 time. The wide open pass to the running back who walked in after sneaking out of the backfield.

Most of this loss is on penalties and offensive line.

Not gonna bitch about a defense that gives up less than 300 total yards. They got shite on today by their teammates.

Under 5ypp too. The D wasn’t the issue.

I think with modern rules benefitting offenses we need to come up with new metrics to determine a DC worth.

Maybe it’s yards. Maybe it’s points per plays ran? Idk.

But today I can say this wasn’t a defense loss as much as it was an offensive line loss.

10 BYU drives ended without a TD, which in total were worth 3 pts.

I just think it's easy to give the defense a pass when we're punting the ball 10 and 28 yards then turning the ball over and failing to convert 4th downs.

That's a lot of short fields to deal with.

Arkansas offensively is going to struggle this year.

Bad offensive line, injuries, poor QB play and average WRs will lead to a John L season.

We need to keep them around based on today and recruiting.... defense wasn't bad but this is what an aggressive one looks like. As we play teams with more talent I'm not sure it gets better. Especially against teams that block well

It was BYU at home Drew.

This loss is on Titboss and it's not close.

I hope he enjoyed all those kobeers he had last night.
