He is a redshirt freshman playing in his 3rd start of his career behind a rag tag Oline....what do you expect?

Give the kid some time and see how he develops.

Hated the play call on 3rd/4th and one with the trick play.

I think Kelley is going to be fine. He brings some other things to the table besides the prettiest passes, He does have the ability to throw deep, we've already seen that.

I think the play calling has been dialed back a little to due to his still relative inexperience. I know he didn't call the bullshite on 4th and 2. Receivers have to step up and make catches on some not perfectly thrown but still catchable balls as well.

His ability to make a tough yard or two when needed due to his size, his ability to actually see over the line. His attitude is worlds above AA's.

Still raw in the offense, but give it a little time. He should really progress next spring when he gets the majority of the first team work.

Kelley took the underneath route a couple of times yesterday that resulted in touchdowns and first downs, and he made these decisions under pressure. I feel like Allen would have tried forcing the throws into coverage. Kelley's running ability also resulted in first downs we might not of otherwise had. There were a few bonehead plays, but that is to be expected from a freshman.

Not sure why this has so many downvotes bc you're correct. An awful Ole Miss team lost the game to us, we didn't win that game, and Kelly can't complete passes downfield, he's not accurate at all

No clue how the coaches see Kelley as the better option over the course of Spring and Fall camps if this is how they played out. Storey's legit. Kelley is bad. This seems like an easy decision.

The knock on Storey may just be that he's a bad practice player.
