Truth.
We don't know the details and there are things bigger than wins and losses. I credit Muss for holding his tongue and not throwing Devo under the bus. I don't think he's taking the easy way out. I've joked about the situation, but the fact that Muss has taken him back certainly implies that there are bigger issues. For all we know the young man may be suicidal and needed emergent care. Time to stop the conjecture and move on with the season.

Better hope not. If so, Muss and UA have twice now put students, players and many others at risk. If he snaps and takes one or two with him, it's going to be an expensive tragedy in several ways.

Devo blew off (uhhh, no pun here) the Buzz crew today. Was a no show for his Nil deal with them. Randy Rainwater spoke of it on the air and said something about Devo not showing up and not getting paid by the buzz.

I'm hoping college baseball doesn't get skull copulated with NIL and portal issues like football and basketball has. My interest in football and basketball has seriously dwindled with how things have become.

I think you’re right regarding baseball. They can be drafted and sign deals directly out of high school and have multiple farm leagues. But who knows…

NIL has helped baseball in keeping players but it can't compete with the money that the MLB has to offer. So I don't see much change and baseball has a nice system in place unlike the other two sports.
It probably benefits baseball players the most because many are on partial scholarships or may not be on any scholarships at the moment.
It is a disaster in football and basketball. They already have everything paid for and apparently that isn't enough.
Baseball is fine but football and basketball are being destroyed by the NIL and the portal.

Apparently the football NIL situation is a complete shite show. Sam is deciding who gets paid instead of the third party money folks like they do in Ole Miss, etc.
Sam is also apparently wasting $$ on walk-ons and low-level bench warmers who will never see the field instead of investing everything into your top players.
