High School coach at Briarwood Christian School in Birmingham, Al

Hired by Dabo as an Offensive player development coach.

Chadillac hires him at SMU as OC

Chadillac brings him here for more learning on the fly in the SEC.

He continues to suck calling plays and we continue to lose.

Not really much he can do man. I know we are looking for someone or something to blame right now, but lets be serious.

The OL is not good, lacks talent, and gives half arse effort most plays. I don't care who your OC is, they aren't going to look good with those guys up front.

Mot to mention our receivers would lose a footrace with a snail and when they finally do manage to get open they drop the ball half the time. Take the first series for example. He had a great play call on 2nd down with the screen to the right and the ball bounces off whaleys fingertips. (Yes I know the throw could've been better but still that's a ball you gotta catch)

Plenty of blame to go around starting with special teams.

Craddock's lack of use of the TE position is laughable at best.

Ty Storey has NO business throwing the deep ball, quit calling the damn play.

If we could get better at the special teams positions and Craddock get muzzled we might win 2 more games.

You know exactly why an offense can't just give up on trying to stretch the field.

I don't get the Craddock hate. It's obvious that our offense is hampered by limited personnel and limited installation. Even with that, put a decent QB out there and we'd probably be respectable.

Maybe Craddock ends up being a failure, but I don't think we can know much based on this season.

That was an awesome call and would have gotten 30+ yards but ARhog is too busy wondering if we are all piofeet alters to realize that.

You seriously do not understand our offense at all. There are multiple options in every play. This isn't ncaa 2002 where you pick a go route play and throw to that guy.

Which isn't Craddock's responsibility

To be honest, our TE's aren't all that damn talented. CJ O'Grady can't show up to class to get on the field.

If you don't take shots deep, you're going to deal with 10 guys in the box all night long. Football 101.

Is this a joke?

Our TEs are not very good recievers and because of our shitastic line they are having to block more than normal. Unfortunately they can’t block worth a damn either.

FTR I know who Pio's alters are.

And I also realize Bert's team beats Chadillac's team by 2 scores. Enos > Craddock

So we basically dumbed down the offense to 10% and still only score 3 pts.

It's more than talent my friend.

Our best coaches in this staff are Chavis, Caldwell and Cooper. The commonality is that all three guys have significant SEC experience.

Meanwhile, on offense we have a bunch of SMU holdovers learning on the fly who were Clemson grad assistants just 4 years ago.

Craddock is a big problem.

He's shown he's not ready for this. Our offensive play calling is atrocious.

Sure and most of my criticism is from the Colorado St game. A little in the North Texas game but most for the 2nd half play calling against CSU. I think the play calling was ok in the Auburn game. It looked like they were actually trying to make it more simple for the players like Chad said they would do last week. Special teams was the biggest issue by far.

If not for special teams. We lose against auburn by like 10 points.

If the offense would just execute and catch passes, and do the little things right in the scheme we could have scored some points. No telling what would have happened then. Pur D line controlled the line of scrimmage, and dare i say our o line beat their D line as we had more rushing yards. Our TEs didnt contain the blitzes well, and storey didnt get the hot routes on those plays. Had this been year 2 in this scheme we may have won that game without the ST gaffs.

You can even make an argument for less than that.

It may have been little but I have seen some improvement and against better competition. I believe if the offense will continue to improve and the special teams isn't a total disaster, we get to 4 wins. Big if on the special teams though.

I said after the game that we would win some sec games. Our team did not quit when adversity struck. The culture is changing. I seen it. The offense will improve. I believe by the end of the year this defense will be nasty because of the D line. If the special teams stop being special. I agree we could win 4 games. We might even get 5 if we beat someone we shouldn't.

Dude after watching last season and 4 games this season, I'm pretty sure they had more talent on offense at SMU. In fact if we had SMU's offensive roster and our defense, we'd probably be 3-1 at worst.

I know AU is supposed to have a great D line, but even the guys with more "experience" like Wallace are getting whipped on nearly every play. Not even making contact on several plays. You can't scheme around that.

I'm not a one of those that thinks a coach needs to have "his players" to be successful. But it's painfully obvious we don't have SEC level, maybe even D1 level talent at several key positions.

I don't even think it's a recruiting problem. Many of the guys we signed the past 4 years were probably D1 talent compared to their peers. The problem is they haven't been developed, both coaching and strength/conditioning.

It's easier for some to blame the current staff for years of ineptitude.

Ha you guys literally could only talk about how sweet this dude was going to be before the season.

"I love his young energetic mindset".

The line really didn't look that bad against Auburn. We were getting solid gains in the run game and there were open options on pass plays.

Storey just sucks and we can't consistently move the ball.

The whole team, staff all the way down is a complete train wreck.
