I can’t believe Cornelius is still on the team. Zero effort blocking on screen early in the game. He should have been pulled and never see the field or sideline again. Speaking of pulled, Pulley is terrible! How did he regress so much didn’t he show flashes as a freshman?

Seems like all of our DBs look good as freshmen and then don’t do much. I remember being really excited about Liddell at one point too.

The way I see it is there are quite a few players that still play hard, but they must be far outnumbered by those who just don't give a shite at this point. So, at this point it's pretty much affected every aspect of the team. How does a team get better if half the guys don't give a shite in practice? How is it a gaul dang punter can't secure a snap? WTF? Ryan Pulley playing like shite too? Team has given up. Their heads aren't in it.
The way I see it is there are quite a few players that still play hard, but they must be far outnumbered by those who just don't give a shite at this point. I honestly hope we play 29 freshman next year. Take our lumps, and then after kj learns the offense we start winning.
Go watch KJs senior highlights. Dude has a cannon. He can run. He is BIG legit 6'3 220-230 lb guy. He makes very quick decisions, but still makes some errant passes. He is raw, but national commentors are saying he is the guy it developed correctly he can be a 1st rounder.

1 class next year isn’t going to do too much. They will be young & raw. We need multiple good classes on top of one another.

We are bad.
You can argue it’s so and so’s fault all you want...the bottom line is that this team was so far gone when Morris took over he would’ve had to of been a miracle worker.
This teams been done since blowing a lead to VaTech two years ago. Once something starts going against them, they lay the hell down. Those hold overs that are seniors now, or juniors are soft.
I fire people like that. It’s going to take two years for this shop to get put in the right direction. I’ll admit, I didn’t think it was that bad. When you look back though, we just didn’t see it or we didn’t want to.
The most worrisome part to me, is that there are groups of 21 & 22 year old men in this world who will throw in the towel at the first sign of adversity. Arkansans hire lots of former hogs in sales, etc. None of these cats even look like good hires to me, much less football players.
I still can’t blame Chad Morris. Should we have beaten Colorado State? Yea, probably. Here is the thing though and this is the way I look at it....It’s like a divorce and the Mom(Arkansas)got custody of their troubled children. Step Dad(Morris)comes in and has a new set of rules. Kids rebellious in nature, put up a wall and continue to do things the way they’ve been allowed prior to step dads arrival. At a certain point, the step dad says screw it, you can’t be changed so I’m going to wait for your asses to turn 18 and kick you out of my house and start over.
My thoughts anyway...we’ve got a group of kids that aren’t willing to change there ways and there isn’t much anyone can do about it.

I’m out of town so I slept in and woke and it was 17-6 or something like that, within I don’t know 15 minutes maybe real time it was 38-6. I turned it right off.

They also fired their inept former Texas High School coach in change for a coach with strong recruiting ties in Louisiana and a National Championship ring.
No clue if they are being forced to play in a run down stadium in Topeka..... otherwise they are currently better than us.

It got ugly.
The players with talent don't have heart, the players with heart don't have talent. We are going to have to flip the roster.
We let the rot spread to far with the previous coaching staff.. and I was one of the folks that grudgingly said give Bert one last year so I'm part of the problem.

DJ Williams tweeted a video of Colton Jackson just sitting in his stance while people ran by him. He needs a first class ticket to UCA. I mean dang son you don’t have to be an All American but at least move and pick up one of the two guys running by you.
