I hear that Conway is a pretty nice place to live. My niece went to school there for a year before she transferred to the U of A.

I'm from Conway. It's way better than it used to be, and it has a certain appeal for a certain type of person... but it ain't NWA.

I concur. Born and raised in the Sherwood-Little Rock area. Lived in Fayetteville for a few years after I graduated high school. It's not close, like you said. NWA>>>LR

“Naw” it’s not.

And you should stop living in Conway and get your arse up to naw.

And congrats on your troll thread on the ASB. You’ll give pioneer and pigsfoot a run for their money.

I stayed at the chancellor and ate at the catfish hole. The huspuppies are on point, I get it now lol.

Florida was staying there as well.

I would move tomorrow if not for my gfs job she is a manager at the att call center.

Conway isn’t bad if you aren’t single. I’m not out looking for it and I’m not bar hoping so there is only so much I’m going to do, it’s quiet, close enough to Little Rock, etc

I would kill myself if I were single living here

In Fayetteville the Chancellor is the place to stay. I heard ole Houston Nutt give a pep talk there one time and I believe it was a Hilton back then.

They’re renaming the Chancellor to The Graduate which sucks

It’s had so many names over the years I’ve lost count.

And you already have the Graduate in Oxford—it’s a good place to stay.

It’s the Graduate Hotel “minichain” that is taking over the Chancellor (same as in Oxford and a bunch of other cool college towns). It will be a million times cooler as a result. The owners of that franchise know what the hell theyre doing in creating hip, appealing spaces.

Oh wow, didn’t know they were going to be related. That’s pretty cool and it should be even better.

It’s a great fit for us. Should be awesome. My wife has been pushing for them to move here for a while. Here is their website.

I am up that way (NWA) from time to time. NWA traffic is shite. Even compared to Conways shite traffic.

Lord help ya if you want to eat somewhere besides Sonic on Friday night. You better be ready to wait till Saturday to eat.

NWA is a cool place, and Fayetteville is an awesome college town. It has grown but it has kept that college vibe. I hope the city planners in Conway pay attention to Fayetteville, we will never have the NWA money but with the right planning Conway can be a solid college town.

Yep. I've lived up here in NWA my entire life and man when I was younger a trip from South Fayetteville to Bentonville only took like 20 minutes (this was before people even used 49) and now it takes twice as long USING 49.

The traffic in the NWA area is bad. Not the worst I've seen (that'd be Atlanta), but it's pretty rough. It's the main reason I no longer live IN town. I moved out South of town. Out towards Brentwood. frickin gorgeous out here and that alone makes the entire area WAY BETTER than anything Central Arkansas has to offer. IMO

I found them to be VERY overrated. I could taste onion, but could tell it was done with powder. I like using chunks of corn/onion/jalapeno in mine.
