Go look at how many of our crappy preseason schedule made the NCAA tournament last year.
The SEC is improving. Muss scheduled 3 teams who made the NCAA last year and won at least one game in the tournament. No need to have some crazy schedule when you can beat tournament caliber teams that boost your resume.

Kansas State owns the series against Arkansas. Sutton's teams had problems with them for some reason and I still hold a grudge against KSU for that reason.
Having said that, I agree that our non-conference schedule is shite.

some of us are looking at the names only and not realizing this.
It is a good schedule for his newish team. And one that will most likely look good resume time for the tourney.

We play in Maui next year. Arizona, Ohio St, Cincy, Louisville and TTU. Covid push a lot of stuff out a year. I would imagine our Non-con scheduling continues to grow
