I don't know why we insist on such a boring non-conference basketball schedule

Mercer, Gardner Webb, Northern Iowa?

We MIGHT end up playing top 20 Illinois in the "Hall of Fame Classic"?

UCA and UALR and Penn and Charlotte?

OU? I hate playing those pretenders

Hoftra and Elon?

West Virginia
Oklahoma
Kansas State
Cincinnati/Illinois
Penn
Northern Iowa

That’s a pretty damn good OOC schedule and will be a positive in the NET.

Play teams with big traditions that are currently down on their luck, like Marquette and Seton Hall

Play Baylor early and risk getting our asses kicked. It will make us better.

Play Louisville and Notre Dame who barely have top 25 votes

Didn't people bitch about the non-conference in basketball last year?

We need home games against teams that won't hurt our NET over the season.

I think it sucks

I'll take West Virgina, okay

if Illinois beats Cincy then we play them, unless we fall asleep of boredom playing Kansas State and lose to them

play fricking Gonzaga and Kansas and Michigan

These teams aren't traveling to Arkansas when they can play someone close at home for $$.

We do need to get back to some high end home and homes. Hopefully next year.

we're always 11-1 or 12-0 going into the SEC schedule and then we play like shite 4 out of the first 8 games of conference

Didn't we play like 4 or 5 G5 tourney teams last year when everyone said it was a shite non con schedule as well?

Who gives a shite.

Muss schedules really good non P5 schools and they turn out to be good teams. I don't care.

Why? If you lose to Kansas and Gonzaga in the regular season, that's not Kansas and Gonzaga bumping you out of a tournament.

Tournament is tournament.

You can't say you'd rather play Elon and Northern Iowa and Gardner Webb than Gonzaga or Kansas

I just think it's going to be hard for some of our fans to adapt to the level of play and expectations coming for basketball mainly next year.

We have to be playing multiple big OOC games.

I'd just like to see some better tier two games

St Louis Bilikins instead of Northern Iowa

Gardner Webb or that little Florida Gulf Coast team that made some runs. They currently suck and they still have that name. Gardner Webb has zero name.

Wichita State instead of pathetic Kansas State

Wake Forest and Boston College, who are both awful right now - play them instead of Penn and Hofstra

Mercer? Hell I'm a geography buff and I'm thinking is that in Georgia or South Carolina? I can't remember

Hell I'm glad OU is joining the conference just so their boring basketball asses will stop fricking up our non conference schedule

Notre Dame and Louisville would be a free publicity win right now

I'm here to win a national championship next year. Schedule some top teams, multiple. Home, away, neutral. Get us on CBS, ESPN Top 10 ranking etc. Full exposure and market the frick out of Walsh, Smith, etc.

Hopefully announce BWA renovation ~2 years.

That's how we sustain.

Don’t think our schedule is hurting us in that regard right now
