Our hitting has been a joke

Slumps happen to every team. Hopefully they emphasize going back up the middle this week and they can get back on track.

I wouldn't say not trying, but when you sub out multiple guys and your starters are on pitch counts of 70 then you are clearly not all in either.

It should be obvious when you run out what has been a mid week lineup that you aren’t giving it 100%

The collective slump doesn't change the fact that we've had one good game since bombing A&M out of the park last weekend

You do realize that we’re facing solid SEC pitching?

We won’t face that in the regional. The bats will get right.

Question is , if the pen improves.

That wasn’t a good hitting game. I don’t think we scored a run that series that didn’t come off a home run. That doesn’t change the fact that every team will go through a bad stretch.

I expect us to be fine in the regional and yes, the bullpen has to get right

Campbell and Nolan have been great and good, respectively.

After that our pitching is questionable at best. Definitely not good enough right now to make a deep run in Omaha

We are not good enough to win games at Hoover.

Ole Miss won the SEC Tournament last year and got bounced in their own regional.

This. I think a game against a 4 seed will do wonders for our slump.

A super is just a 3 game weekend series. At home, you've got to like our odds

I fully expect to get Omaha. What we do there is up in the air. I'd like to see how all of the remainder of the Supers go to get a better feel.
