Hogs football NIL question

Perhaps I've missed it elsewhere, but I haven't seen one particular aspect of Hogs football NIL addressed.
Concerning our "big money" boosters. No secret, the existing Waltons aren't big football boosters. The Tysons still are, but maybe not as much as they used to be. The Hunts -- aren't they as much baseball boosters as anything else? The Little Rock Stephenses -- I don't know where they fit in, but I do seem to hear their name some.
But there's a name missing, at least one I don't seem to recall hearing anyone mention of late.
Former player. Had a grandson who played for the team a few years ago. Owns the Dallas Cowboys.
Why isn't Jerry Jones our Phil Knight?

Because Jerry already has a team and pays $$$ to players. He doesn’t have the time or itch to scratch by meddling in our football program. Which is what most of our big money wants to do.

The last time Jerry "assisted" our football program we hired Chad Morris. Before that he got us into the disastrous Dallas games. If he wants to keep his distance I'm fine with that.

Jerry is worth $14B and already has a team. Knight is worth 3x that and basically has Oregon as his own team and clearly dearly loves the school and his headquarters are still there in Eugene.
Jerry's #1 concern is his family and Dallas. I'm convinced he hired Chad hist so his grandson would get a scholly and play QB at Arkansas.
I also think he soured on the program after he had to cut Chad's buyout check. (just speculation, but it feels that way.)

Because they make terrible hires and pouring millions down a toilet isn't worth the investment.

True. After all, he has enough horrible failures with his own franchise to pay for. He doesn't need to pay for other failures.
Though his drunk arse better have paid to send Chad packing.
