I was slow to accept Muss because I was afraid of being hurt again. It’s been so long since we’ve been good in anything other than baseball and I didn’t want another letdown. This caused me to accentuate the negatives and ignore the positives.
There’s no denying it now though, Uncle Mussels is the right man for the job and he seems to be having a lot of fun here. Haven’t seen energy on the team like this in a long time and I’m ready to be excited about March Madness again!

How many years has it been since bball was this exciting at tournament time? Pre-Mike for sure...

Probably the Portis and Qualls team that was a 5 seed, but Bruce Hornsby’s kid killed us with that buzzer beater in the last game and that knocked us down a bit. But that’s just the way it is.

Ayeee what about the Macon/Barford team that almost took UNC down.
I was effin pumped that year.

I haven't been this excited since the week we took down top 10's Oklahoma and Texas under Pelphrey.
Of course, we went on to go winless in conference for weeks. I'm hoping this team can string togethernsome more wins and finally break that Sweet 16 drought.

Wooo hooooo....we're all hog fans and there's no fault in being cautious about hopping on bandwagons...we've all sure had plenty of them lose a wheel after we hopped on.
Ideally...we ALL learn to not be so quick to criticize or drink the koolaid either one until a pattern is established with a coach.

Muss has my hopes going up again. Hopefully he can keep us on an upward trend and sustain it.
