I'm gonna be in vegas the day before otherwise I would be in Memphis. Will be lots of fun, lots of hog fans and a very winnable game
Not sure why anyone needs extra excitement. I don't ever really give a shite who we play, just want to beat that arse and have fun at the tailgate

bet jeff and bert steered us towards a bowl matchup with a non spread offense team even if it meant taking a lesser bowl.
get a winnable bowl to keep momentum rolling into the offseason. kinda like how jeff helped us maneuver our way into a winnable game vs the tsips last year.

Had more to do with LSU being in the Music City Bowl and aggy in the Liberty bowl last year.
Since aggy throws a huge bitch fest when they have to play in state big 12 teams and bowls don't want the same teams in back to back years, process of elimination from there.

We were in the Texas Bowl just last year. That wasn't going to happen.
I am excited just bc I didn't think we'd even be bowl eligible after our disastrous start to the season. I am proud of them and think they deserve it!
Imo, it's better than Birmingham or Shreveport.

Its a sucky matchup and a terrible location as for travel.
With gas as high as it is, and the costs of tickets being tripled what they would be in Da Rock. I am pizzzed...

I'd much rather we be in Florida, but we didn't win enough games to get there. Of the bowls that were realistic possibilities (excludes Texas since we were just there), this is better for fans.
Unless you'd rather go to Shreveport.
