Are we at rock bottom? Sure. But this gives the fans a chance to prove they have the heart we so adamantly demand these kids show on the field.

This board is starting to resemble another that needs no mention. As Bret learned, not just anyone can handle the pain that this state can dish out. Our fandom has always transcended our football history.

This isnt just about pumping sunshine. We, as fans, have become caricatures of ourselves. And yes, I firmly believe that our attitudes and the words we launch into the galaxy affect the program.

I still think Coach Morris can right the ship. Bielema had some intermittent success and I don't believe he had near the work ethic as CCM. But we have to have his back. (also dictated by pragmatism since firing him before 3 years would be as detrimental as the losses) Why would he believe if we don't?

Go ahead and shite on my post if you feel the need. Ill only be concerned if one of the flagship posters of our board takes umbrage. (Piggilicious, Chesh, RazorHawg).

Obviously, I need to post more threads.

Is that really all you got? An overused, 2 word pseudo witticism in lieu of any real discussion?

I saw CCM's face on the sideline during the game. He looked anguished as frick. Most likely he will be spending an absurd amount of time trying to everything he can to get the results that he, and we, desire.

I don't disagree with you. Chad deserves a minimum of 3 seasons to move the program in to a winning direction.

Do I think he will get it? Probably not. We can't change the fact we are headed for a 1-11 or 2-10 type season. If next season is the same then look for planes flying banners and fans looking at phone records. It's what hog fans do.

It’s good to be positive I personally just can’t be right now.

You're really putting me into a pickle right here. Women have endured WAY tougher than this; Women are always right. STOP PLAYING WITH ME EMOTIONS.

To be fair, I have an unfair advantage. I saw "Mandy" Thursday night and Im still charged up as frick.

Its easy to be positive. I am positive that we are very bad right now. We'll get things turned around, though its going to be a painful process. I'm positive about that.

I'm not positive that Chad is the guy to turn us around, but I'm willing to give him three years to try.

The beta male title on this board goes to the biggest tryhard. And I don't have to ask for what's already made.

I also still support Chad. I don't think getting blown out at home to UNT is acceptable even for a first year coach, but we've seen other really good coaches struggle immensely their first year, and Chad came into about as bad of a situation as you can.

It sucks but all we can do this year is support the team. We aren't making a bowl, but you never know... Maybe we find an answer at QB and pull off an upset later in the season

I've got to tell ya.. I just don't see it.

I really am not usually all that negative of a person. And like said above, im positive that we will continue sucking this season, mostly next... and don't believe he has the coaching ability to turn it around.

The recruiting will most likely head downward with our losses as well.

Look, we are talented in some areas, what happened to the short passes that even I can still make? what happened to a running game? Dear Lord Man, he lost to Colorado State after having a 27-9 lead while running 6.2 yards a carry average, with 268 yds at the half to only 80 in the second half.
TO what we saw yesterday. I think he is toast.

Now... With that being said, it would be foolish to fire him in season 1.... And I hope I am so wrong, I hope this is just emotions rather than truly thought out... but I don't think It is...

Don't be surprised to see Chad's name floating around job vacancies this off season...

I really thought would be a good hire if Arkansas was going to go "cheap" to offset Bert's buyout. Obviously Arkansas chose to over pay on their own, they were in a competition with themselves for his services, obviously way overpaid when Norvell and Brown were/are both available.

His inability to see his team as having a "care problem" is equaled by seeing his recruiting has an oline problem. I really thought Chad would at least be able to pull talent from Texas since he is suppose to be a highly respected coaching legend there.

The fans were sold a bill of goods on a Houston Nutt level again. All the cliches, inability to develop a QB, ineffective passing game, junior high level offense and play calling. All of the enduring qualities of Nutt with out the guaranteed wins over the rent a wins or upset each season. All his for only 3.5 million. Such a bargain.

I can’t quite gripe at him for going to see his son play but we’re gonna suck for this season and next. Then his son will graduate and choose somewhere else because his dads not far from being shitcanned anyway. So yay, what hope we have.
