Way to go. 2-0.
Work on the passing game and cut down on penalties. Pitt Boss is the man!

After seeing how several of the teams in the conference looked today we should feel a little better about our start. 10 years of losing created too many chicken littles in this fanbase

I think the passing is fine. There just no reason to toss the ball around when we are mauling our opponents.

KJ was 18/21 today. That’ll work every week.

Even though they are 0-2 this year (a super rough schedule this year for them) I fondly remember Army thrashing Air Force a few years ago without having a single pass. Not pass completion, pass attempt.

If you are just beating people's brains out with the run and getting 5 yards a carry... I'm fine with not airing the ball out.

I'm afraid we better enjoy this season.

Might be the last one we have both our coordinators.

We have a habit of doing this every single season (Other than JLS, Bert, and Chad years). Just enjoy the season bro. And if we are as successful as I think, we won't have a problem continuing the progress with other coordinators.

The reason why Coach Pittman was a great hire is because he understands the need to build a solid foundation. I'm almost hesitant to use that cliché, but it's true. You need to recruit kids that are fit to your program and philosophy. You also need to be a coach that other great coordinators want to work for. If we lose any of our coordinators, we will have other coordinators beating down our door to work under Coach Pittman.

I love the absolute hell outta Coach Pittman and Hunter Yurachek.

Remember when we asked why he got benched at Georgia? They told us about this. Dude had one of the worst drops I’ve ever seen. Literally hit both of his hands and he couldn’t catch it.

This is said every season…and every season they come back.

Briles isn’t going to leave for another OC spot. Odom isn’t leaving for another DC spot. Neither are leaving for a shitty HC spot either.

We're currently ranked 129/131 in the country in pass defense.

True but he also had some nice catches as well.

well it’s hard to blame Odom when he’s had 2 safeties go down as soon as the season starts, one of which was the best player on our defense

I cut him some slack. Year three in a major rebuild and just now have the players on defense that are serviceable.

Here is what I know and care about...

4th quarter starts and there is 12:19 left...Arkansas is up 35-16 and I look at the stats on the scoreboard and I see 40 rushing yards and 188 yards passing.

That makes me happy. 188 yards passing came in the 4th quarter with the game in hand and South Carolina feeling the need to onside kick and air it out to try and pad stats.

South Carolina 4th Quarter
First Downs: 10
Total Yards: 188
Passing Yards: 188
Passes Att/Comp: 14/18
