Is this a game you believe we should win, can win, or won't win. Why or why not? Honestly I believe we have just as much or more talent than they do and should be able to out up plenty of points. The only question will our defense be able to step up and stop them. Muschamp isn't known for having great offense and even though they have a good qb our secondary is supposed to be our best defensive unit and muschamp is normally pretty conservative I like our chances. 31-20 hogs. I know this is a random thread considering we've got 4 games before this one but I believe this one will tell us what kind of season were going to have

Arkansas should win this game as long as they come out ready to play. The main thing the Hogs need to do is keep pressure on Bentley, if he plays well, they will score. Their defense was ok last year, but became very lackluster stopping the run the last half of the season. Pressure Bentley and pound the football, and the Hogs should leave Columbia with a 7-14 point victory.

I honestly don't know about South Carolina as a whole. Lots of questions marks, will be interesting to see how Muschamp does there.

I heard a South Carolina beat guy on the radio a week or so ago say that the Muschamp dynamic (bad offense, great defense) will probably flip this year, and that they look to be good on offense but weak on defense. Not sure I totally buy that. Muschamp is an excellent defensive coach, and he couldn't put together a semblance of a decent offense at Florida with the talent they have available. I'll believe a poor defense and a good offense when I see it.

That being said, I have no idea what to think about this game. We could win by two touchdowns or lose by 10. One thing I don't like is how our respective schedules set up going into this match up. We'll have 2 OOC cupcakes, a bye, and TCU and A&M, none of which will be a true road game. Inversely, USe will have played 5 games, including an opening week game against NC State and 3 SEC games, and two of those games are away. They'll arguably be much more battle-tested.

Right now its a tough one to call, we will know more about both teams after the first game or two.

I suspect South Carolina will be able to put points up this season but they are going to give up quite a few as well. Could be a lot of shoot out games for them. If Bentley goes down they are in a ton of trouble.

If we get good line play so that the play action game has time to develop then I think we pull away later in the game (unless we get another run completely out of gas in the 4th quarter game... at which point in time my liver will take tremendous punishment). Establish the run, set up our play action passing attack, and control the clock. The usual Bielema game plan.

It should be a fun game, but hopefully one we put away towards the beginning of the 4th.

If we drop one or two games before this, which is possible, then this game is vital towards getting us to a bowl game.

They should have a pretty solid passing game with Bentley and a good group of weapons to throw to. Not sure how good their running game is supposed to be.

Their defense isn't that great but LB Skai Moore and CB Jamarcus King are both all-SEC type players. Pretty sure we were in the mix for both during their recruitment too lol. I'll be butthurt if Kiel Pollard makes some plays against us.

We were in on king. I wanted him pretty bad, but I've been drinking the kool-aid and I am 100% positive jones is going to burn him over and over since he is a NFL WR as a Rs Fr.

We should win. Eill muschamp never fields an offense. Give those kids all the hype you want. Ill have to see it to believe it.

Not just physically but psychologically as well if they lose a lot of those games.
