He did it twice today. Anyone else notice it? I hate that he's not more of a team player, could have a couple more wins right now.

I don't get it really, does he think it's attractive to NBA scouts to be huffing and puffing 4 minutes into the game and playing like an 80 year old man?

Don't understand how he could be fatigued when he was in foul trouble.

His flopping his shite.

These coaches don’t have a damn clue on how to utilize Gafford’s strengths.

The most athletic big man and we mindlessly have him jostling on the block to post up when he’s on the court.

If I was him I’d try to stay healthy and get to the end of the season ASAP.

It is strange, we have seen him play for way more minutes than today and not get as winded. Obviously he is playing a guy in the post who makes you spend more energy than most but still odd.

I'd have no problem if he quit on Anderson. He has nothing left to prove and owes nothing to Mike. Best of luck to him.

Ball-screener and roller diving to the hoop.

We should run PnR every trip on offense and make the defense help or we dunk. Attack the rim not have stupid shot selection from guys who can’t make shots.

Tbh he really hasn't proved anything. He should've left last year. Hate to be a negahog, but not very fond of him, and I've said that all season.

He is a finalist for center ofnthe year and a lock 1st round. Was he either of those last year?

Do you actually watch the games? Do you not see the shitty screen and rolls that he and Harris do? You know, the ones that they lay off of Harris because he's not going to shoot and Gafford gives a half-assed effort on the screen.

I'm all for criticizing coaches, and you're usually pretty level headed, but these people that just talk shite to talk shite when they are not even close to correct need to get a life.

The facts that Gafford can't dribble and can't shoot beyond 3 feet from the basket are on Gafford. If you choose to truly work on your craft, you get better at those things. He would make our offense much better if he could consistently hit a jumper (or a free throw for that matter).

Yeah we actually do alot of them towards the end of games. Gafford is way too gassed to run them correctly or I guess he doesn't care that much. I don't see them try to run it as often in the 1st half though.

As if the coaches are telling him to stand in one place with his hand up just leaning on his defender.

Dude, I am no basketball player, but I played. And the coaches I had made damn sure that you worked on your craft, and got better at those things. At what point does a coach sit his azz, run him crazy, force the point of the matter? Why is it that these players, get better when they leave Arkansas and go to the NBA. And I am not speaking of taking years to do so. Perhaps, could it possibly be coaching?

We run them trying to get a switch and a favorable matchup. That worked at times with Macon, because he could shoot or drive. Harris can't shoot and when he does drive, he's not likely to make it, so there's no reason to switch.

Yep. He might be a great player, but it isnt the full game, every game. Very disappointing with how he is touted. Way more skilled then me, but there are many players in D1 wayyyyyyyyy better than him.
