For the life of me... I would rather keep BP as OC with Pittman...

Riley does not move the needle for me at all...

it's this moment I realize you might a real decision maker in our athletic department based on how shitty your decision making seems to be.

If you're gonna hire him you might as well keep sam at least Sam knows what good brisket is...

Man… you could be on to something, lol.

Kingsbury? The one who was HC at Texas Tech for six years and posted four losing seasons? The one who went 8–5 in his first year with Tuberville's players and couldn't reach eight wins ever again? The one who won seven and five games with Patrick Mahomes as his starting QB? The one who (somehow) coached in the NFL after that and had losing seasons three out of four years?

But he has "brand recognition." Our current staff is truly superior to Kingsbury and Lincoln Riley and basically every way.

I like Kirby’s DC, Glenn Schumann, culture guy.

Could be the next Dan Lanning. In the future it won’t matter if we don’t have a good GM though.

Memphis has also been doing well recently. I’d take a look at their coach as well. Basically anyone but Pittman, or Morris, or Bert, or johnelle.

You are totally welcome to defend a grown man who berates the Razorbacks on TV and doesn’t take responsibility for his mistakes and lack of performance. Everyone wants to blame “those kids” or the OC who had us at #2 in the SEC in offense and has lost around 30 players to the transfer portal again. Seems like a true winner to me.

I didn't, you blithering imbecile. I said you were blaming Pittman for something that is clearly Petrino's fault. But let us explore your reasoning further.

If Pittman, not Petrino, is really the ultimate mastermind of this team, who controls everything... shouldn't you be lauding him for fielding the 2nd ranked offense in the SEC? I mean, if the Fat Guy is really the only person responsible shouldn't he get credit for that?

Here's the truth. Pittman isn't up to this level of head coaching and should be let go. And, barring he turns things around next year, Petrino may very well be past his sell by date and need to be shown the door as well. I get that you really love Petrino with all your heart... but more often than not it was our offense, with Petrino calling the shots, that let this team down again and again.

It isn't defending Pittman, who killed Archduke Ferdinand, kidnapped the Lindenbergh baby, and cancelled Star Trek... to say that Petrino and his hand picked QB have put up gaudy but ultimately meaningless numbers this season. There is more than enough of this turd burger to go around for both Pittman and Petrino.

We put up good numbers and couldn’t get it done with Briles and the red zone play calling was pretty much exactly the same.

I agree with this statement.

I don’t, I’ve never said he should be rehired or that he shouldn’t have been fired(been silent on that), and he’s too old and weathered for the HC gig and possibly OC soon.

I want a coach and staff that get it done in a manner that has us on a more respectable level. Contrary to popular belief, our program isn’t poor, we have way more resources than we act like and we just won’t rip the band aid off(which needs to happen if we ever want hope and prayer of gaining respectability again but we’ve pretty much blown that window anyway already).

I think briles and Petrino are both good offensive minds but have both been hamstrung by 6 years of sub par offensive line. Which to me has never gotten up to snuff, and is unacceptable seeing who the head coach is.

Poor offensive line play, quarterbacks that can’t go through progressions and fumbles/turnovers have killed us.

Go get someone with NFL ties who kids will want to play for.

Bobby Slovic would be perfect but I’m not sure he won’t get a NFL job

That’s not we set the standard, we set that at 6 wins, unless it’s a new year then maybe it’s 4. But you definitely have to win 6 the next year.
