Updated Warren Nolan has us going 27-4 overall and 16-2 in conference

His predictor isn't very accurate until about midway through conference season.

Right now, team rankings is pretty legit. That is what I use in the OP. Last week, warren nolan had Miss State predicted to be 14-4 in league play. It doesn't factor in schedule strength and performance against that schedule either.

Right now on Team Rankings...

Record: 23-8
SEC: 12-6
Conference Champ %: 24.7%
Conference Finish: 1st
Likely NCAA Seed: 3
% to make NCAAt: 92%
Final Four: 9.5%
NCAA Champion: 1.8%

Gonna have to put a stomping on Tenner and win one on the road to really get some respect

I don't know how anyone, with a straight face, can tell me this team isn't a top 25 team.

We had one bad loss on the road.

At the end of the day it's just a damn number. We control our own destiny regardless of what the so called "pollsters" think.

18. Milwaukee Bucks: Daniel Gafford (Arkansas, C, Freshman)

Daniel Gafford is still hiding under the national radar, but his name should surface once conference play starts.

The 6'11" athletic freshman is coming off Arkansas' bench to register per-40-minute averages of 24.6 points on 69.4 percent shooting, 11.6 rebounds and 4.0 blocks.

Constantly active around the rim and capable of playing high above it, Gafford has also showcased intriguing low-post maneuvers (14-of-23) despite lacking obvious polish. He's becoming an interesting project teams could think about developing for the 2019 or 2020 season.

I think it would do all our souls some good if we just kicked Tenners arse Saturday. We deserve it, it will happen.

Yeah this is exactly why I made that thread before the season started on if we'd even get Gafford for a second season. I figured this would happen. Too much raw talent.

So what are we thinking here with the quick road game Tues at Miss State and then at Auburn Saturday?

Greedy and want to win both or are we okay with a split here?

We need both IMO.

This team is Conference Champion good. Looking at road games later in the season we could definitely drop, we need these two early.

I expect us to be ranked this week, which means we will be the hunted on the road. State may not be a rowdy environment on Tuesday, but you can bet your arse Auburn’s new place will be rocking.

Important wins regarding league title run...resume wise, going 1-1 would be plenty.
