He's got to learn to play defense without fouling. He has a shitload of talent. He just needs to be able to stay on the floor. I hope he can get there.
I'll never understand why that's so hard for some players to do. Just don't fricking foul the guy you're guarding. It's unbelievable.

Next year he will be behind Vannover, Williams, and Chaney (if he stays). I just don’t see him staying.

No he doesn’t... he has a shitload of athleticism.
He’s a good kid and a great teammate, but he is raw as hell. He has no ball handling skills and has zero ability to score. When he matches up with equally athletic players he disappears.

He and Vanover are entirely different players. Vanover is an outside scoring threat. If it were me I would try and put them in the lineup together. The best thing about having a 7'3" guy who can shoot the rock is you're gonna start getting a lot of opportunities for lob dunks. Which is right up Henderson's wheelhouse.
I hope like hell Henderson doesn't leave because I think the kid has an opportunity to be a special ball player once he's developed some more.

He’s Jacorey Williams 2.0. Typical Mike Anderson small forward. Too small to score in the paint, no outside game, but can trap with the best of them.

Yeah but when he was here he’d get 2 fouls in 3 minutes. I think Henderson would do better against conference USA competition too.

Henderson surprised me this afternoon. He played 19 minutes and didn't pick up his first foul until the game was damn near over. Of course, he only scored 1 point, but he did have 4 blocks and 5 rebounds. 2 steals a few deflected passes (he deflected 2 that Joe picked up for a steal), and even had 2 assists.
He's coming along. Needs to work on becoming more of a scoring threat.

I was at the game yesterday and they called 2 fouls on him that were all ball. Nebo killed us when Henderson was out but when he was in he kept him very quiet except for when they let him get to the line.
