If they are dead set on hiring a High School coach, why not go down to Greenwood and try to out bid the Wilkerson's for Rick Jones?

No need to post anything like this. The board is entertaining. I'm glad all of you share. It's exciting to read even if I am always skeptical. Fan bases should he able to agree and disagree without acting like turds to each other and I see very little of the ugly go on here. We're all just hoping for the best with this hire. There are only a few of the coaches names that come up that I think would be a disaster.

Lost in all the Gus mess was the talk of pooling a large chunk of money for top notch assistants.
I’m hoping the GOBN doesn’t think that they can just put their wallets back in their pockets if we hire someone like Norvell or Morris just because they’re not a splash hire. I could actually see our BMD’s saying “meh, he can make due” when the opposite mindset is needed for an up and comer type.
Give Norvell the cash he needs to go hire a Chavis and several ace recruiters.
