I know... He knows what he's doing but he continually pulls pitchers too fast, especially with our suspect bullpen

Eh, I just don't think he's worried about TCU. They barely made the tournament and it's 5-0.

Most likely last chance for live game work before Supers. We haven't used hardly anybody. I don't have any problem with it.

I was thinking that and probably getting guys like Scroggins and Kostyshock a last minute look before the draft with scouts in attendance

Whats funny is this is the opposite of what everyone has felt for years.

Yes, and you also dreamed Noland only going 5 1/3, while giving up 2 hits and an ER on just 55 pitches... all in the first game of a regional that we might have needed pitching for had the TCU lefty been as good as advertised.

We all love DVH, but that doesn't mean that we have to agree with his every move or his handling of the bullpen.

BTW, Scroggins looked really good last night. He'll really help sure up the bullpen if he can continue pitching like that.

I'm a teeny tiny bit worried about our competition level in the regional. Ole Miss is far better than anything we saw this weekend, and they've beat us three times already. Wish we could have drawn pretty much anyone else.

If want to win the title, we'd have to go through them at some point, I'd rather it be in Fayetteville than anywhere else.

I don't think their pitching was better than what we saw Saturday. We should come out fighting knowing they took the series from us at home

If Martin, Fletcher and Kjerstad can consistently get on base we’ll have no problems getting back to Omaha.

I’m not worried about our pitching.

True but you can make the same argument for Ole Miss.

Could it be he's being careful with his pitchers especially freshmen starters so they will have future opportunities to pitch this postseason?

Smart IMO.

Noland gave up 2 homers and 4 earned runs while getting 3 outs.

and let Ramage stay in too long. I'd rather he have brought in Trest or one of the other frosh. Ramage sucks.

Too fast

DVH is not above criticism razor

Ramage sucks... Has all season, and Noland was up 0-1 on the first hitter of the second inning, and the hitter hit a pretty good pitch out. Tip your cap. Not a bad pitch by Noland.

Disagree, but I see your point.

I counter with this...DVH saw it wasn’t Noland’s day and went ahead and pulled him. Pulling him early, makes him available tomorrow...Wicklander, Noland, Cronin, Kostyshock, Scroggins all ready to roll...My theory anyway.

100% what it was.

Saw Noland didn't have it today, knows enough of him as a freshman to know when he doesn't have it so you pull him early and use this as a bullpen session/side throw day. Will be available if needed tomorrow for multiple innings.
