Does anybody else get a Coach K vibe from Muss?

This is a thread that could age badly, and no I don't expect to be the next Duke.
I'm just amazed every game at what I'm seeing on the floor, and he hasn't even had a chance to put his own guys in.
How are we going to look in 3 years when he has handpicked players and redshirted raw talent?
I think the program is on the way back and will start snowballing after this year.

Why not? They won their first ever national championship only three years before we won ours, and we beat them in the NC game to win the one we have. Arkansas actually produces good basketball talent. That's most of our problem in football.
Arkansas is a sleeping giant in basketball and baseball. And we could at least be respectable most years in football if we stop flubbing the hires.

I get what you're trying to say. There's been an emphasis on fundamentals which is something we've not really seen in 30 years. It's pretty cool. Plus it's fun to see a different type of basketball played on the hill.

I get that vibe from Muss too. He has that IT factor, you can tell he is a special coach and has it figured out.

I like what I've seen so far. Hell I've watched the last two games, and it has been years because I didn't but in. Still, I'm trying not to get too excited, I've been fooled before, and it's made me very cautious.

I'm not going to compare him to another coach,I just like what I see and he's exactly who we needed.
I remember Eddie winning with defense and discipline,it's good to see that again.

Didn't some scribe rate Arkansas baseball as the 3rd strongest program recently? I think we were in front of LSU, but behind Vandy and Florida.
