He is the same age as Norm Debriyn when he retired.

?
I think there is a big difference in the two and I don’t see DVH going anywhere anytime soon. Just was looking up Norms record and realized he retired at 60.

DVH has more time than Saban left.

I think Dave has 8-10 more years left.

Norm retired because his best years were behind him. He fizzled out.
DVH still has a lot of energy and he is determined to win a title. Which is why I don't think he retires until he does and this could be the year.

I think DVH will surely want to reap the rewards of the new baseball center and players being able to profit off themselves. I would assume we’ll be one of the few schools that could really have baseball players benefit bigly there. It should be easier than ever to get legit MLB talent to campus.

It depends on how this season plays out. If Arkansas wins it then I would say another five years for DVH and he will try to win another. Max is 10 but if he wins it this year then I don't see him staying that long.
DVH isn't the type of coach that is stubborn and let his career go in decline. He wants to end it on a high note.

Yeah but he hasn't hit his ceiling yet, nor came close to the floor.

He has been a head coach in baseball for 33 years. He is getting close to retirement.

What is he going to do for the next 30-40 years then?
Does he honestly look like he has enough chill to retire right now?

PrescriptionPig nails it in my view. Kids being able to profit will do the same thing for Arkansas baseball that it will do for programs like Alabama, Ohio State, and sadly....Notre Dame (a media darling).

More likely 20-30.
