They’re demolishing Shiloh.
Just moved back to the state, so I’m not sure how the HS football landscape like these days. I miss being in Georgia during football season, as their HS football was second to none.
Why does 7A still only have 16 teams. They should expand.

Watching the game. Watched Fayetteville vs Bentonville.
My first reaction is I think Parkview would make a good showing against both. Would be good games.
Parkview beat Bryant earlier in the year, so they must be able to hang with 7A teams.

Saw a lot of Shiloh parents crying about Parkview using gps vests to collect in-game data and scouting middle school kids to identify good players (but Shiloh definitely does not recruit!!!)
One of the complainers was Walt Williams… why is that name familiar? I swear I’ve seen his name before

Just curious, but why all the private school hate?
You guys realize that public’s have recruited for years and it’s likely about to get way worse with the tax/school choice in Arkansas, right?
Also, isn’t Parkview able to pick and choose the kids it wants from all over the LRSD?

'Ole shite bag Walt was running a recruiting service of sorts in Springdale.
The a-hole was sending Arkansas HS players to Gus at Auburn and being paid very well.
Not he's a Realestate agent in NWA.
I could keep rambling about all the illegal BS that he's been involved in but I digress.

Wow. Between things like this, college NIL and the sheer amount of money being thrown at certain sports, it's clear to me that our country is f$%ked. I'm a huge sports fan, but damn!!!
Oh well, people are free to do with their money as they please. It's keeping that cash flowing through the system.

I went to a Shiloh Christian/Pea Ridge playoff game four years back.
At the end of the game, Pea Ridge scored a TD but the refs signaled that he was short.
A bunch of Arkansas national guardsmen where standing where the ball was at.
I asked them did he break the plane?
None of them where for either team and were charged with shooting a cannon each time that Shiloh scored.
They all agreed that Pea Ridge did score that TD.
Oh and just minutes before the game when Pea Ridge ran onto the field to huddle around, Shiloh turned off all the lights.

Ask any small town school in south Arkansas who finally has a good team of home grown talent that has to play PA, a school with a stacked recruited roster in all sports, for a championship. It should never happen. Make the academies play one another or larger schools with comparable talent.
I’ve been pissed about this for years.
