I don't doubt it. That's one of the things that makes the whole NIL thing so tricky. You never actually, truly know what any team is doing on the NIL front.

Womack could turn out to be a great coach, but we just can't risk it after hiring an OL coach last time.
One good hire to generate some excitement and a ca$h flow and we could turn it around in a season or two. We make another dumb hire then we'll be the SEC doormat for another decade.

I trust Wess more than I do anyone else in our media. He told me a few days ago (YT comments, I don't know him) that he thought HY was going to make a good hire.
