Otis literally knows nothing. Nobody does. Really, really odd. Like I said a few days ago it feels like we have signed NDAs

If I was one of these insiders who supposedly knows but can’t say… I know I would be hitting the betting markets. If the coach is truly locked up and no one is saying, that would point to Eric Morris

Morris between ok st and us, winner gets his stud qb.

I keep seeing stuff like this. Don't get me wrong, it'd be great to have a coach be able to bring in some good players already familiar with their system. But i feel like that should just be a bonus and we should really be careful of that being any kind of deciding factor. Question should be, can said coach continue evaluating and bringing in/or developing that level of talent?

I'm certainly not saying Morris can't or won't because I don't, honestly, know enough about him. Just that we shouldn't be looking at coaches based solely on players they can bring with them up front.

Bringing players with is how Cignetti turned Indiana around so quick. The core of his first team was JMU taking on the big10.

Morris is the QB guru, difference would be he wouldn't lose the QB he recruited and developed every year to a larger school like he has been.

I can see both sides of it, but based on past searches tend to believe it’s a bigger name that would need NDA’s

Those numbers are inaccurate. Look at how low Tech is for instance. Although public record of player compensation isn't available, it's estimated that Tech, TCU, Utah, Ok st, and Colorado all have higher budgets.

And they would’ve been right above Cincy if he didn’t fork over $2M of his own money to pay for NIL. He would get 8-9M salary from us and probably 20–22 million for a roster
