Good post and that pretty much sums it up for me as well. If we end up hiring Silverfield or Wommack then the higher ups at Arkansas as saying they don't give a frick about the football program anymore.
It is time for a fresh start with someone who will come in and make the program their program. Excite the fans and inject some fricking life into football.

Is there really any reason to believe a Golesh is any better than Silverfield?

Golesh was with Huepel at Tennessee and has sec experience. Same thing Womack has over silverfield

Pretty minimal SEC experience.
I get liking him a little more. I just don't get wanting to burn the program down if we hire a Silverfield, but thinking Golesh is a homerun.

Seems a little odd that the names that Thamel listed are basically the same as they were since the beginning of the search before anyone had any info
Surely the powers that be will understand none of those names will excite the fans which will hurt ticket sales. My gut tells me a bigger name not mentioned or has been mentioned will end up being who it is, ala Cal.

At best, he knows what other coaches/agents are reporting to him, that all want better jobs. Oh man I had to tell Arkansas naw, they kept calling me like a heart broken lady.
