If you have a prime time hire liked up you want it to break during a prime time game and have the commentators commentate.
If you making an underwhelming hire you want to 11am kick off you'll be slotted in for the next 5 years.

Has anyone mentioned Bob Chesney from JMU yet? Hearing his name mentioned some. I’m intrigued by him

If you don’t have a hire, you don’t give a frick. I bet that’s the option we go with. We will have fired early yet again, and have a coach 2 weeks after the carousel stopped.

More funny that we agreed and voluntarily gave up a night game

Heard last night he's gaining traction for the UCLA job.
geez that's a HORRIBLE job..... seems like we could be much more attractive than that cess pool.....
Wondering if we have made contact with him or not.
Biddy said on DTS yesterday HY has intervied 8 candidates or something like that.
Have to assume Franklin was one of them. I'm using deductive reasoning from the smoke and mirrors to assume at least
Stein and Traylor have also been interviewed. Trey said point blank HY interviewed Traylor in the last few days. I feel like we have also talked to Wommack and Faulkner. Possibly Silverfield. Not sure if we have interviewed Golesh or Sumrall yet or not.
Of course all of that outside of Traylor and Franklin is speculation but I guess time will tell.
All still feels like a smoke screen for PJ Fleck to me

At least we aren't LSU thinking we are getting Kiffin only to find out later we are getting trolled.
Gotta admit that's gonna be funny

With it being a defensive guy, I bet we could save Wisconsin from having to fire a coach again. We could get Fickell, reset his clock.

The whole advantage of getting rid of a coach early is to get a jump on everyone else and lock your guy in. That's what good programs do anyway.

Bert's success at Illinois makes this even more doable.
not selling it...just seeing it.
holding out hope for O.

The worst choice. As soon as he got his lottery ticket from LSU, he quit doing anything football.

This is why he is being fired/ran off. He went in and switched from a big corn fed run it down your throat football team to a more pass happy offense, and they didn’t have the players in the state. They’ve always used the big farmer lineman and get a RB out of Florida model.

I feel it will be an Arkansas move, great or disaster.

This was just hearsay from Biddy btw. He said his source is making an “educated guess”
