You're taking about a guy who hired Georgia's offensive line coach because he wanted to be here.

The amount of people in our fanbase that get excited when you mention Kliff Kingsbury blows my mind.

The amount of people who would be willing to accept Dabo as our head coach blows my mind as well. That guy reminds me of the old arse SNL skit, Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer. He is a fricking moron.

What blows my mind are people like you tbh.

Arkansas football has a worse SEC winning percentage than Vanderbilt over the last 14 years. Arkansas is the worst program in the conference by a WIDE margin.

And there is a large contingent of people that turned their nose up at James Franklin and Dabo Swinney.

The rest of the country laughs at us thinking that those two would even consider coming here. Arkansas fans think that we are above the both of them.

It is insane.

Edit - Lol. Right above you, there is someone who thinks Kliff Kingsbury would be beneath us.

I don't think we are too good for him, I just see him as being overpriced, too long of a guaranteed commitment due to buyout obligations and will end as another disaster of a hire.

I don't think Dabo is a fit for what this
Program needs at this time.

James Franklin wouldn't be a fit either.

This has nothing to do with their past accomplishments or lack there of.

Arkansas needs a coach who is an excellent talent evaluator and developer who brings something different scheme wise to the SEC. The past three hires have been an attempt to mimic what others were doing who have had success in the SEC. Bert-Bama, Chaggy-Auburn, Sam-UGA.

We need someone who is doing their own thing their own way who's path to success isn't reliant on beating out programs already on sound footing for players like the previous three hires.

We need someone innovative. Plain and simple. If we miss what's the worst thing that could happen?

I never said or thought that we are too good for Dabo. I completely agree with you that Arkansas is the worst program in the SEC, there is no doubting that. I have said the same thing on here recently. But my opinion that Dabo is a jackass has nothing to do with me thinking Arkansas is too good for him.

Innovative but disciplined. Disciplined may be more important right now for Arkansas than innovative. Our current HC is certainly innovative, but we've got atrocious discipline.

Our football program is a complete train wreck. Not sure anyone is going to resurrect it and instill a winning culture fast enough to keep from getting fired.

It’s a 4-5 year fix minimum…and that’s to get back to 7-8 win seasons.

The sane thing to do is to get into a league that we are willing to be competitive at that level. We aren’t willing (as a fan base or administration) to do and spend what it takes to compete in SEC football.

I’m not saying I like it. Shoot the messenger if you will…but we currently do not deserve to be in the SEC. We play like someone is betting on the games.

I’m in the wrong for thinking someone who had a losing record with PATRICK MAHOMES in a bad conference is beneath us?

With NIL backing, it’s not a 4-5 year fix anymore. I know losing 8 straight sucks but we’re not far off at all in my opinion.

Exactly. I have no idea what all the issues are but the solution is money.

I don’t really think talent is the problem, especially on the offensive side but you can fire Pittman but this is still a Pittman team mentally. Just need a house cleaning and we’ll be getting one in about two weeks or so.

I understand why you say this… but I don’t think 4-5 year fixes are a real thing anymore. If you are good at evaluating, recruiting and have NIL support, you can turn the corner in 1-2 years.

Your NIL support is only going to get worse after that
