Petrino has better resume than anyone we could realistically hire. Honestly better than most that we couldn’t realistically hire too. And he’s actually done it here, at Arkansas, specifically.

Saying he hasn’t done anything to deserve consideration is hilarious to me.

I do enjoy that the fan base is truly split over something again though… we were united against Pitt for so long, it was getting boring

Like I said, if this was pre NIL I would be all for it but you need booster backing and he wouldn’t have it.

We’re still losing the same way we did under Pittman.

Almost like Pittman had the previous 11 months to make the team in his image.

This is the resume of someone who hasn't done anything to garner consideration.

We weren’t exactly setting the world on fire with NIL in football anyway. Who could we possibly hire as HC who could get full NIL support?

If we fired Hunter, forced Stephens to actually set up and manage the money if we are even considering playing basketball games in Little Rock. The fan base supposedly donated $20m we were one of the top donating schools. We move top 20 apparel. We travel well for tournaments. On top of the 20m the school is going to have to give. So Ohio State paid $40’ this year, with little to no NIL major boosters for Pittman.

The Giants just fired Brian Daboll. Interview him now! Would be a great hire IMO

NIL , Crap...

I forgot that we would get absolutely zero NIL support for the man who has won more games at Arkansas per season than... Well... Hmmmm...

How stupid does this sound?

If the extremely wealthy would not give towards the best coach we have had since... well, hmmm.... then perhaps they were Nepo babies, because surely they weren't intelligent enough to make all of those millions/billions with those brain cells.

It doesn't take a genius to figure it out. Hire BP, Hire a great DC, Move the cash saved to NIL, get after it and win. Geesh

People only go from pros to college because they can’t get another pro job or to take it easy. Belicheck thought UNC would be coasting into the twilight years and banging 24 year olds. Daboll has done 2-3 stints in college and everyone hated him when he was at Alabama.

Why would we hire an offensive coach when we have one that is proven and better? If we don’t hire Bobby we should go for a defensive coach.

that's a fairly large wall of text to sarcastically state your hatred for BP...

I don't hate Petrino. I want him to win some games. Give me a reason to give a single solitary shite about him as head coach.

You guys love this backstabbing POS. I don't care that he's a backstabbing POS, I just want Petrino to win. He isn't.

Please, Bobby Petrino, prove me wrong and don't f*ck up one of the last three games so we get a win. I'll consider things and I might choose him.

No, it’s about who you don’t want and it’s only based in hate or hurt feelings carried over from 14 years ago or however long it’s been.

Unless it’s some really big splash (not gonna happen) Bobby should get a fair shot at it with his own full team and staff. Franklin, I think I’m okay with (prefer Bobby). But Golesh over Bobby is just asinine.

It’s about NIL. Period

Insider info at the moment is saying Petrino isn’t the money guys choice. Doubt anyone on here would really complain if Bobby was hired, but it is what it is in regards to NIL being the deciding factor.

Like I said earlier, is this the same guy that was behind Morris?

Take Franklin off the list then.

There is still a chance the pig trail nation will report Tuberville has been hired for the 6th different coaching search.

Mind you, the offense has lost us 3 of those games.
I'm sorry but this is bullshite. Requiring the offense to score more than 35 a game to win is ridiculous. The defense is so bad that if they make the other team punt 2-3 times over the course of the entire game we call that the defense doing their job. The measuring stick for either side of the ball is so ridiculously lopsided.

If the defense isn't at the very top of your list when listing why this team isn't winning, you simply aren't looking at this team objectively. Again, the 123rd ranked defense out of 136 teams.

Auburn, possibly the worst offense in the conference, punted one time. They got points on every possession but two. They would have set a new season high for points in an SEC game for themselves on field goals alone. They then play Kentucky, the 12th ranked defense in the conference, immediately after that and score 3 points total.

Our defense is averaging 2.6 punts forced per game in SEC games and has forced a grand total of 2 turnovers. Y'all can complain about situational football in isolated incidents all you want, but no team is winning with a defense like that. Our defense is unfathomably bad.

I did say the Auburn game is the one that really stings. We held them to one offensive touchdown. Offense shite the bed it’s ok to admit it.
