Old man Irwin says Tyson is trying to make a play for Franklin
Posted on 10/23/25 at 5:27 pm to Woopigsooie20
Franklin is nothing but smoke and mirrors.
Overall average at Penn State to th point adidas payed the majority of his buyout.
He's was 1-8 against the top 25 while at vandy and had only one win against a top 5 opponent.
When you really break down his numbers they are very Bert/pittmanesqe which is probably why he's so popular in this coaching search.

I heard today he was headed to the Huskers, this man seemed to believe Ruhle won't pass Penn State up when they come looking.

Golesh lost today too. Hard to tell who’s the best candidate week to week

I would go with my old stand by of Brent Vigen but while he helped make Wyoming vaguely competitive (not an easy task) everywhere else he's coached has had solid programs. NDSU primarily but Montana State was a fairly respectable team when he got hired as the HC.

That and the runner up will go on to have a Hall of Fame career.

I wouldn't throw a fit over Franklin. I would miss scoring points, though.

We deserve to stay in CFB hell if we're basing it off week to week results

RMS on Discord said this as well. Evidently we are offering 10 mill per year with a guarantee on NIL, etal...
the PTB/BoT/Donors have roughly $10m+/yr ready for a package, with significant NIL guarantees.
•They want to flex their muscles, and “send a message”.
• It is still early, but they have a clear name circled. They will make him say no, but they are absolutely prepared to spend this cycle.
• If we strike out on Franklin, this could bring Rhett back into the fold. “An offer he can’t refuse” if you will.
