To be fair, our secondary has been average to below average for almost my entire life so maybe the answer is just make it the most coached up group on the team.

Maybe there's not a single... OH WOW name but I think this is a VERY solid staff. I like the directions he went on defense and offense.
It looks to me like he's planning long term also, hires an OC and a QB coach that has been one meaning he's prepared for line of succession... same could be said with Roberts and Hobby on defense also.

If Roberts gets is top 60 and Cramsey can keep us top 40, we are a 7-8 regular season win team next year. Portal additions will be key to 9th win

Yeah I mean realistically we need next years team to be a touchdown better than this years team in order to get to 7-8 wins. Whether we do that remains to be seen. Seems like somethings those nerds (in a good way) over at Fayettevillains could figure out after all the portal additions are finalized. Like what the point spread would be between the 25 squad that we just saw on the field and the 26 roster we will see next season.

Im still in awe of how pitiful our defense was last year. There was a 4 game stretch were we had a total of 6 total defensive stops

It wasn’t the touchdowns that we needed. It was the stops. We got none.

I meant point spread. You get a model to make a point spread comparing last years team and next years who would’ve picked to win on a neutral site. Considering this years team was close to winning quite a few games we just needed to be about 6 points better

This staff looks like an expensive wet fart.
Was fighting it but the Chad Morris 2.0 vibes are super strong right now.
If the portal isn’t an absolute banger, which by the looks of that staff, it won’t be, wake me up in 3 years.
