Isnt he the guy that once hired a decent looking intern, just to date said intern and got called out on it?

Fans do not need to be in radio, has always been my opinion. Too invested, no real connections, and in times like these with a coaching search, cannot really contribute much besides just rumors on message boards.

Honestly man, we have to do better than Wommack. At this point and with the overall importance of this hire, there has to be a better hire than him. Nothing against Wommack at all. But with our recent history which has been completely piss poor, this program deserves better IMO.

Our recent history is piss poor, yet we “deserve” a better hire?

Prepare to be disappointed.

I’m sorry, but it wouldn’t. I know we all think Silverfield sucks but the national media will all “that’s a good hire”

With that said, we’re not hiring Silverfield lol

Yes our program does deserve better. Why not? I know I am not content with shite hire after shite hire. Why should anyone be?

Seriously.

The delusions around here about the status of our program continue to perplex me.

Acting like we’re above a Wommack or Silverfiled type hire is pure fantasy.

Sorry to hear this perplexes you but we can do better than Silverfield. Not sure why you don't see that but whatever.

Genuinely don't think most Arkansas fans GAF what the national media says. I've not seen anyone wanting Silverfield. It would be really bad for HY if that was the hire, that's all I'm saying.

It's the opposite for me.

Silverfield could probably go to LSU and be fine.

We are teetering on the brink of the no-return point with super conferences looming. This hire needs to be really good.

As of this morning, I’m sticking with my Golesh pick. The smoke around him isn't very thick, seems almost deliberate.

But definitely won’t rule out Campbell or an out of left field hire with the way there’s no info coming from our side.

Waiting on your list of likely candidates given openings at LSU, Penn State, Florida, Okie State (Morris) and possibly Ole Miss.

Virginia Tech just beat us out. How many times do you need to get hit square in the face to realize how bad this program truly is?

Again, we’re in the Washington State, Oregon State and other bottom dweller P4 conference levels of irrelevant.

We would be playing 9am Jefferson Pilot Kiwanas Saturday morning slots if it still existed.

They really didn’t. They never met face to face with Franklin. He wanted no part of the SEC

Josh pate claims Morris turned us down for Oklahoma state. I find that hard to believe and if he did we don’t need that anyway. If you’re scared of the sec then yeah, go somewhere else.

I think everyone speculating has no clue and we're about to hire someone we didn't expect or wrote off at the beginning of the process (Mullen, Dilly, etc)
