I think BP turns it around and keeps the job.

I don't think the Defense can improve enough and I don't think the offense is good enough to make up for them. Sad to say it.

Seriously. I don't see how Hunter isn't completely handcuffed to Petrino and what he can do over the next few weeks

Ohhh He is! He is completely handcuffed to Bobby, and if it goes south... he goes too! He knows this btw!

Florida has to keep winning. Texas is one of the worst teams in the league and will continue to lose. This week buys him some time.

Is cignetti a good coach or is Indiana just benefiting from super soft schedules?

Well, Indiana has always had that kind of schedule but has always sucked. I’ll let you decide

Indiana has played the same teams basically for 127 years.

Last year is the first time in their programs history to reach double digit wins.

Yeah fair enough so do you think we call him and inquire?

Couldn't do any harm. If he says no there are other options. Personally, if I was him, I'd stay at Indiana unless someone flashes the cash. A few more good seasons and he's virtually employed for life.

Both can be true. He is a good coach and they have a soft schedule that no one has won at because they are a basketball school.

His buyout will be around $13mil after this season. I think that’s a little steep when you consider all the other money we will need to come up with in regards to roster, etc.

They did beat a top 10 team at the time, by about 60 points.

They still have @ Oregon, @ Penn State University n their schedule this year. So we will see if he gets to that 10 win mark again.

Petrino is the answer. He wouldn't be here otherwise. This didn't happen by accident. He'll have plenty of NIL and be able to get his staff. I truly believe he wants and needs to win here and make things right. He knows how close he was last time. Who in the SEC is a better coach than BP?

So you're telling me at seasons end you could have the choice between Lane kiffin and Bobby Petrino you're picking Bobby?

I just don't see that.

You had me right up until the last sentence. I love Bobby P and I'd be just fine if we end up with him, but let's not get hyperbolic. If this were 2012, I'd agree completely....but considering at what our offenses have done in the 2nd half this year vs teams with a pulse:

Ole Miss: 7 points

Memphis: 3 points

Notre Dame: 0 points

That's just getting outcoached with halftime adjustments. If it turns out that Pittman was handcuffing him and the offense explodes the rest of the year, then I'm happy to say I'm wrong.
