Undisciplined, played above their heads for a few minutes, ultimately lost because of dumb decisions and coaching

I find it hard to bitch too much at the defense which has been the only decent thing this year until today.
We are better a little. It’s not any kind of victory but I didn’t expect to lose that good.

What coaching error lost this game for us? I seen a bunch of dumb penalties. One of the hands to the face came because the linemen was holding but we got flagged.
We will get better and win some games once we figure some offense out. Bert left us a slow, and small team.

Yep, I may be in the minority today but I was somewhat happy with our performance compared to previous weeks.
I can tell the defense has improved quite a bit from previous years, we just need the skill players and QB on offense to get the overall plan up and running. We're trying to outfox the other team with a bunch of cows and sheep.

It's hard to win when your offense is Arkansas atrocious. We had under ten first downs in the game with this "offensive genius" coach. The defense fought and even the offense did a little.

It's amazing how chief and Caldwell have turned around a shite defense i to a defense that isn't complete garbage. Yes they tire out in the second half but that is largely due to depth and positions the offense and special teams put them in.
Meanwhile you have a staff that is oriented towards the other side of the ball who can't even sustain drives long enough to give the defense a rest.
Talk about bizzaro world.

as our players figure out the new system and the coaches figure out how the talent they have performs in game, we will improve as the season progresses.

Not doing what they are coached to do, and have been coached to do since they were old enough to play in games that use actual kickoffs. If you think they are coached to leave their lanes and all converge on the ball carrier then I don’t know what to tell you. Maybe you are one of the ones that thinks that Cole Kelley was taught to throw to the deepest route regardless of the coverage
