Could you imagine winning 5 titles in a row at the highest classification in the state and then leaving to coach at another school in the same conference, an hour up the road?

Issues with administration made him decide to leave, is the story that I heard.
Pretty much the same story with Clay Totty at Rison. Averaged 10 wins a year in 25 years there.

Jonesboro begins a new search for a new head football coach.
Quad Sanders steps down after 2 months in charge, he's heading back to Bryant as their new head football coach.

Guy is a hypocrite. Denied a couple players, including the starting QB and Arkansas baseball commit, their state championship rings because they “quit” the team after the season was done and over but he and his coaches that left all got theirs.

This isn’t surprising. Guy was good to me, but he was a vindictive MFer

You're getting downvoted but couldn't be more spot on.

The LR population creep isn't the same as it used to be. The people moving in are getting weird.

It’s to be expected as Conway and surrounding areas are diluted, it attracts more & more of the LR/pine bluff trash.

Yay progress!

Eta: that’s really the reason I’m a proponent of Faulkner remaining a dry county. We can’t exactly put a wall around the county, no alcohol sales is a good deterrent. But it’s only a matter of time before Faulkner is wet due to the dilution.

Not sure how you found this board, but it's unfortunate that you did.

My hometown basically got ruined because the towns around it were awful with crime. People started moving to it because it was safer and then the trash came with it. shite place now

There is good people that come from both LR & pine bluff, but there is a lot of trash. The crime statistics speak to that.

I’m talking about when the trashy extended family and friends that the good people were trying to leave behind end up following the good to Conway, Greenbrier, Vilonia, etc.

It’s sad because we can see it happening and can’t do anything about it. Just get to watch our hometown slowly destroyed.

Our home town hired a new director of the public housing authority. Big $$$ He saw a way to take government cash left and right to make it profitable to appealing to West Memphis folks.

It is little memphis now. Murders, Drugs, Fights, rapes, AK47's are being carried by the officer who respond to reports over there now.

That town is now almost complete destroyed. Sad.

I grew up in west Memphis. Lived behind the wal mart. Awful place now. It wasn’t so bad when I was growing up in the 90’s. We rode our bikes all over that town until sunset.

Notice how not one word was said about race.

I've listened to people denigrate other Arkansans here for years and finally just got sick enough of hearing it to say something.

BURNT THE frick OUT on hearing humans call other humans trash.
