That 4th and 1 call is the worst call I've ever seen in any football game ever.

It was his call too.
Just said so in his post game.

Well, said it without saying it.

"We ran two plays in that situation and wanted to dial it up next time we were there. It didn't work."

No shite. It cost you the goddamn game.

Having #16 on the field was stupid.

Tough loss, hate it for the players, but it is what it is.

Yeah at least put Brandon Martin out there if you’re going to put someone in who is buried on the bench. At least he has the raw talent needed.

When the game is on the line it’s always a good idea to throw to your 6th best receiver, Chuck.

If I'm not mistaken Hammonds only had 1 carry today.

But when they needed a miracle he was in there alright.

I think running that Cleveland Steamerboat play on 4th&1.5 deep in your own territory last week is right up there.

Hammonds

I wonder if we can fire him with cause to avoid the buyout? One could argue that subjecting college athletes to his "coaching" is player abuse.

Well, I think an argument could be made about him not putting his team in its best position to win. Which would be a breach of contract.

Hammonds and Brandon Martin especially are beyond puzzling. It's like sabotage.

Now, now, folks... we can't possibly pick out one play as the worst in his tenure. That would be ignoring the rich tradition of lousy play calling and even worse execution we've had since he got here.

The players put Bert in a position to win but he couldn't execute.

Didn’t like the 3 an3 call either. Maybe he wants to get fired

This. It was all players, missed calls by the refs and shitty coaching.

I can’t get too mad at Bert about Hammonds today.

True, he had limited time, but Hammonds played like shite on the few snaps he saw.

Yeah he had more than one touch. Missed wide open cutback lanes at least twice.
