I had them winning seven games as they would show improvement. Still Sam is exceeding expectations.

Auburns o-line is very pedestrian and not much special there, that's why Nix has been running 1000 yards a game to escape pressure. Bigsby is good but the talent around him is lacking, so he hasn't had the greatest numbers of late. They don't seem to have any extraordinary WRs that'll give us matchup issues either.
We'll play bend but don't break defense and keep their running game to a minimum in an attempt to make Nix beat us, and he'll make plenty of mistakes.
It all comes down to how our offense executes and how long they sustain drives to keep our D rested. I like our offense against Auburns and I think we should be able to run it at will

We left 10 points on the field and gave up 3-4 massive busted plays and still lost by 1.
Corral had a pedestrian game with his arm if you take away the busted plays.

He had 287 yards and 2 TD. KJ smoked him passing wise.
60 yards came on a busted arse throw where the WR had to stop because he under threw it so badly.

We gave up 52 points, 600 yards and no turnovers. What exactly would it take for you to say Odom got out coached?
And Corral had over a 200 QB rating. Wouldn't call that pedestrian.

Busted coverage isn’t necessarily coaching.
I’m as frustrated as anyone with the defense but it wasn’t a coaching clinic.

damn man shut the frick up. If someone would’ve said we’d more than likely be bowl eligible by the end of October then I’d have done back flips with what this program has been through the past 4 years. We’re halfway through year 2, we’re competing again and turning heads.

That receiver was so open that under throwing him was the right thing to do.
Don't know why you're giving odom a pass on rushing yards. Its his job to stop that as well.

We lost by 1 point with a 50% walk on/transfer defense on the road to one of the best offenses in the nation.

I get that sentiment, and while it is true, we will be screwed next year as we lose practically all of our experience over the last 3+ years who will be leaving the defense. Next years defense will be ugly

Actually we can still bring back more super seniors next year because everyone got an extra year of eligibility from the covid year so guys like bumper pool can come back for one more. I believe most of the dline will be back as well as about half of the secondary. And plus the way good. Coaches work is you get the young guys ready before they’re thrown to the wolves so we won’t suck just because a starter leaves. But thanks for believing the sky is falling anyway

Sam will hit the portal hard later this year and some seniors will come back. He will be using the portal until depth issues will be fixed on defense.

His defenses were better than the Bert and Chad years. I don't know where this defense will be ranked but they are better than bad.

2014 the Arkansas defense was ranked in the top 10 in total defense and scoring defense.
Chaggie couldn't coach for shite, I'll give you that.
As of right now our offense isn't built for out scoring our opponent in a shoot out. Maybe we'll get to that point in the coming years.
Defense needs some work, imo.

Actually our offense had shown yesterday that it could compete with the best offense in the nation.
