Yeah, that was one of those devices used in attempt to entertain and humor others. The whole paragraph was written in that tone, with over-the-top comparisons and exaggerations. Huh? I know when I joined they wanted a dude and I wanted college. It was a symbiotic relationship. As far as the bitching goes, the revenue is a wash in Washington county so you can't say that it's a tax boon. On the other side it does promote tourism for the state which is nice.
As far as the Northern Virginia battle flag, who gives a shite? It a marker for people to avoid or flock to depending how you feel about it.
