Stolen from the rant, but if that's not the most absolute chilling stat for how the season will go, then I don't know what else is. Total qbr score was
31. A reminder, 50 is average....

Again...against Portland State. He legitimately may have a zero against Auburn or Alabama.

Starkel should 100% be the starter from here on out. He is a far superior QB.

It's okay we were just running a very basic offense to squeak by PSU saving all the big dick plays for Ole Miss!

If we had been playing Alabama yesterday he would have been intercepted half a dozen times. And I know that Starkel did throw a pick, but Starkel was thrown out there to close the half in a 2 minute offense. He also promptly completed our longest pass play of the game with a 40 yard strike. Hicks was lucky not to be picked off at least 3 times.

I just don't think Hicks looks very good and I am anything but a "Negahog." I'm not looking for reasons to bitch. It just seems to me that Starkel is clearly the better option and it seems that Morris is refusing to see that for whatever reason.

I wonder if Starkel is causing problems in the locker room or something. Otherwise I don't see how someone can rationalize Hicks should be out there over Starkel.

The only way Starkel is causing locker room problems is due to the entire team knowing he needs to be starting, yet Hicks was and is still named the starter.

If you want to splinter a locker room, this is exactly how you do it.

I guarantee Hicks is seen as the coaches' pet, therefore can do no wrong. Starkel basically sucks as well, but his ceiling is too much higher not or be playing and he can actually hit downfield passes. Your receiver talent is not suited to 3 yard dump passes and line of scrimmage screens. It's now made to blow the top off the defense and play jump ball over the DB.

Perhaps the staff believes that avoiding turnovers, which Hicks, I guess is better at, is the advantage. Only problem is, When he's inept at driving the offense, avoiding turnovers don't make a damn.

talking with others on this today, It seems that Hicks is able to get rid of the ball much, much quicker than Stark and knowing our OL is pathetic, this is the reason Hicks gets the reigns of the team.

Start takes too long to develop his pass, and gets sacked too often...

At least two of Hicks' near interceptions would have been pick sixes. The pass to the sideline to Morris and the floater in the backfield to Boyd that nearly got jumped by the PSU LB were both right over the defenders' fingertips.

The majority of the team wanted Starkel, this is a good way for creating a divide with the team if Morris continues to be a moron and pushing Hicks.

Read your own post. His raw qbr was 59. It was adjusted down because of the shittyness of the opponent.

Hick is just ok. He’s got a low ceiling but he’s not complete dog shite like this ranking indicates.
