Offense continues to light it up. Just need the pitching to hang on.

Unreal to think about given how bad this team has looked at times, but there's a chance this team extends the 18+ conference wins streak.

Need to either finish the sweep of OU tomorrow and take 2 of 3 in Lexington or lose tomorrow and sweep Kentucky.

Coaching staff has really done great job with their approach at the plate.

Keep the bats hot and pray for the bullpen guys to show up.

Saw a stat that we are outscoring opponents 56-18 in the 8th inning this year

And they flashed that stat right before we plated our final 2 runs.

Crazy how this team has responded in the late innings all year.

I've seen enough of Gibler as a starter. Next.

Gibler and Gaeckle both have a tendency to get ahead 0-2 and then either throw completely noncompetitive pitches, or just straight up meatballs down the middle.

I wish there were more young pitchers that would learn how to locate pitches over all the other flash stuff.

Give me a Maddux, Keuchel, Hendricks type pitcher over a guy that can throw 100 mph.

Ground ball pitchers... So precise and extremely effective.

Fisher is so fricking bad. Just no chance on Sundays with the arms left.

I'm eyeing the pitchfork with Hobbs' name on it I've had stashed away for a while.

I’ve been a Hobbs defender, but I’m so tired of having 1.5 starting pitchers every year and a top-heavy bullpen.

Not counting Dietz due to his injury, literally every returner got worse. He's not developing a damn thing.

He can't develop, and not bringing in shite from the portal after we lost every starter and Jimenez is just inexcusable.

Not to mention the hubris to think they could turn Gaeckle into a starter again after it went tits up last year.

And the belief that Fisher was a day 3 starter after never having been more than a midweek guy.

In retrospect it seems like all of his eggs were in the basket of that UALR kid. Granted that wouldn't have improved the abysmal bullpen situation.

No idea why he went Brissey instead of McGuire first either. Probably cost us the game, limit that to 2-3 runs and the offense battles right back as always.
