Not sure if it's weirder they asked or that he thought yes was the right answer.

Our strength in the Combine has been weak since Herb arrived, which has always bothered me. I hope things have changed and Skipper shows out in strength.

Bert really threw Hunter Henry under the bus last year when he said he didn't train with Herbert and didn't have a good combine. I honestly have no idea why fatass says that kind of stuff.

He did basically the same thing with Collins, Kirkland, and Philon. Seem to me very time a kid leaves early Bert gets pissed and personally attacks them. Don't understand it and don't understand his love affair Herbert and his techniques. Our O Line is always massively gassed in the 4th qtr when it should be the exact opposite and non of our guys have great combines.

Hatcher with a 4.65

Good thing they take the lowest number because his second attempt was a 4.74

fwiw, if he said 'didn't have a good combine' he could mean that the kid's true talents weren't accurately reflected by combine numbers. that's more of a way to support the player than put him down.

With that 4.74 Morgan will be lucky to get drafted. Most teams just won't touch guys over 4.7.

Coincidentally Wes Walker ran 4.7 I think too. The chip on Morgan's shoulder is going to be the size of Everest. I guarantee the kid will be productive in the NFL.

Didn't Jarvis Landry run a 4.7 something? Not saying Drew is nearly as good as Landry but 40 doesn't mean everything. Drew also performed really well in the shuttle drills. Came in 5th place for the 60 yard and 7th place for the 20 yard among WRs

Landry ran a 4.77 but he wasn't healthy. I think his healthy time is around 4.5. Still, You can see Morgan is already using this as motivation.

I guarantee he will get calls from teams like NE and GB if he doesn't get drafted.

To add to the NFL network's analysis, here are their predictions before all the data comes in from workouts, etc:

Jeremy Sprinkle - 5.7 (Chance to become NFL starter)

Deatrich Wise - 5.49 (NFL backup or special teams potential - right on the cusp of an NFL starter which is 5.5)

Keon Hatcher - 5.38 (NFL backup or special teams potential)

Drew Morgan - 5.25 (NFL backup or special teams potential)

Dan Skipper - 5.1 (Better-than-average chance to make NFL roster)

Jeremiah Ledbetter - 5.0 (50/50 shot of making a roster)

Brooks Ellis - 4.92 (Should be in an NFL training camp)

Toby Baker - 4.92 (Should be in an NFL training camp)
