Listening him talk about it Monday on the Buzz, it sounded like journalistic malpractice 101 mixed with misinformation.
Basically he was hearing similar (but different) things from different sources and never verified anything.
If Silverfield really was recruiting kids the last few weeks, then it was either a smokescreen or he just latched onto bullshite that you can find on any message board.

We have KJ Jackson and Trevor Jackson (Florida St. transfer) along with Grayson Wilson possibly returning.
Not sure the NIL demand he has is worth it if we keep those 3.
If he wants to come great but not at the 7 figure deal he’s demanding.

Yeah I don’t think we can risk that much NIL for a QB who probably needs a redshirt year, given the roster overhaul we need this year.
He performs at Utah he’ll have plenty of options to transfer, if that’s something he wants to do.

The question is, if you give him 1M do you get more than that much back in donations from people who do think Archer is the second coming.

I don’t think it would impact our overall NIL but I’d imagine he’d personally be getting local NIL deals at a higher clip than he will out of state.

He’s an average qb playing in a great system. He’s the 17th player in the state, outside of the top 1000 nationally and the 79th qb. If he didn’t play at greenwood no one would care. Theres guys ranked ahead of him in state going to charlotte and app state and the guy right below him is going to UCA.

Would love to have Kane but not going to melt if he goes ahead and signs with Utah. Either way we should be fine. Got to keep KJ and Grayson. The kid from FSU...meh.... fine if he stays, if not. get someone else in the portal if you don't feel good about the room.
